Fun trip to Goa
Fun trip to Goa - Class IX, X, XI (27 Nov - 1st Dec)
A memorable trip
By Jane Jones, Class XI
On 27th November,
the students of classes 9, 10 and 11 set off on a long waited trip to Goa,
eager and enthusiastic to have fun with our friends. After a night’s train
journey, the wonderful smell of the sea welcomed us to Goa: our home for the
next few days.
Our first glimpse
of Goa was the beautiful Baga Beach, and we all ran right into the waves,
soaking in the sun and the breeze and having the time of our lives. We later
visited Fort Aguada, and had a nice time admiring the architecture and
clicking lots of pictures. The next day, we visited the Calangute beach:
some of us went on rides too and had a great time despite the heat. In the
evening, we went on a boat cruise on the Mandovi river and danced our hearts
out, while enjoying the performances on board. Our last day was more
relaxed: we went to the market to shop for souvenirs - little things to
remind us of this wonderful trip; and we visited the Mangeshi temple, taking
in its serene atmosphere before setting off on our journey back home.
The trip came to
an end far too soon, but the fun we had and the memories we made are ones we
will never forget and we’re all truly grateful for this wonderful experience
we could wholeheartedly enjoy.

Fun Trip to Goa
Students of class VIII went on a fun trip to Goa from
13-10-2022 to 17-10-2022.
A Trip to Remember
By Sriya Vijayaraghavan , VIII A
‘A Journey of a thousand miles
begins with a single step.’ I am sure that all of us have experienced the
joy of travelling. This joy is surely doubled when we travel with our
friends. I experienced this joy when our school took us, the students of
class 8, on a fun trip to Goa.
It was a wonderful
journey. We left Bangalore at 3 in the afternoon on Thursday, 13th
October. The train journey was really enjoyable, and we reached Goa the next
day, at 4:30 a.m. It was an hour’s journey to the hotel. Soon after
breakfast, we set off to explore the wonderful sights Goa has to offer. Our
first stop was Fort Aguada, a historic monument built by the Portuguese. We
then visited Candolim beach and enjoyed the amazing view. We then went to
the Baga beach where we had the time of our lives, playing and relishing a
lip-smacking lunch, before heading to another beach. After our return, we
had a karaoke and dance night along with dinner, and ended the day with a
good night’s sleep, waking up fresh and ready for another wonderful day.
Saturday held a lot of excitement for us: we visited the peaceful,
white-sanded Miramar beach, and then the Dona Paula beach with its exotic
views. We then stopped by a few churches and enjoyed an amazing sunset
cruise and a dance party. On our last day, we checked out of the hotel and
visited the Chapora Fort. It was hot and tiring but the view was one I had
never seen before! We had Goan food and then went to the Anjuna beach, and
were amazed by its breathtaking views. We then shopped for souvenirs in the
Baga market. After dinner, we left for the railway station, with a lot of
wonderful and unforgettable memories.
This trip will
always remind me of all the good times we had, and I’m grateful to the
school for this wonderful experience.
"Diwali Dhamaka" will be held on 22nd October 2022.
Venue: KENSRI campus
Timings: 10 am - 4 pm.
Vihaan, Class V has won the gold medal for Junior Tennis championship held
at Peter Burwash International Tennis at Prakash -Dravid Centre for Sports
important festival of Karnataka celebrating the victory of good over evil,
was specially celebrated with great enthusiasm in KENSRI School. It was
marked with a special ceremony commemorating an important milestone in a
child’s life — the first words they write.
The program took
place in the midst of a beautiful arrangement of idols on a makeshift
staircase, and began with a special Saraswati pooja, and an offering of
flowers by the parents and teachers. This was followed by the ‘Vidyarambham’
ceremony, where each little child was made to write their first words in
rice, with the help of their mothers. The parents were genuinely happy to
see this tradition being kept alive, and expressed their joy and delight.
This simple, yet
special programme was but a glimpse into the rich culture and heritage of
our country, showcased through each jubilant festival.

Fun Trip to Dubai
KENSRI organised an International fun trip to DUBAI for the Secondary
Voyage to city of the future... Experience shared By Advay
They say trips help to develop great friendships; well, this trip would be
one of the best examples for this statement according to me :)
This fun trip would surely be the most memorable 5 days of this year…
Right from when the trip was announced, I was extremely excited, I hadn’t
gone for a school trip since 4th grade and the news of an
international trip with friends made it better!
Fast forward 3 months, there was less than a day left for the trips and the
buzz was immense. Exams were just over, so I could enjoy the trip very
happily with everything set, I was ready to go…
As the airplane was at 3:30 the next day, I had o be there by 12:00 IST. I
didn’t sleep at all as I couldn’t wait to just set off. I was sure the next
few days would be the best of all and I was very impatient.
With the security, baggage and all the checking done, we were just hours
away from setting off. We were waiting in the lobby in front of Gate-33 when
the news struck- DUE TO TECHNICAL ISSUES, THE FLIGHT FROM BENGALURU TO
SHARJAH HAS BEEN DELAYED BY AN HOUR AND FORTY MINUTES. THANK YOU FOR
CO-OPERATING. How much longer could the wait get:’)
The airplane, supposed to depart by 3:30 IST, was now delayed till 6:10 IST.
The wait was finally over as we went off by 6:10 IST. After a small nap in
the airplane, we were right above Sharjah, when the captain spoke- THE
LANDING OF THE FLIGHT HAS BEEN DELAYED DUE TO THE FOG. How much longer could
the wait get:’)
After the long wait, the airplane finally landed at 11:00 GST in Sharjah
airport. We were nearly 4 hours behind schedule, freshened up asap and
started off with the city tour… phew finally ‘:D
We saw many different buildings which were all unique in their own sense.
This included the Burj-AL-Arab (the world’s only 7 star hotel), Golden Frame
(made purely of 24 carat gold), The Future Museum (A museum in shape of a
oval ring), Many of the king’s palaces and many more places which were just
We stopped for lunch and after that reached the place, which I’d call the
epicentre of the trip’s fun- Hotel Aloft.
The fun started no less than an hour into the hotel as I got stuck in the
elevator. The engineer had to be called and my friend, Vishnu, didn’t leave
my presence at any cost and I managed to get out after 20 long minutes.
After some refreshments and rest, we went down to the lounge to play some
pool and foosball, after which we went for some good dinner. That wasn’t the
end for this long and fun day, as some of us friends met-up in a room past
dinner to have an amazing session of pillow fight before sleep :P
If the previous fay felt long, this was the most memorable one. The second
day, was when our besties’ group was formed…
We woke up early and set off to a 2-hour trip to Abu Dhabi past some good
The Ferrari World theme park, our first stop in Abu Dhabi had to be the most
memorable part of the whole trip.
We first went in the world’s fastest roller coaster, literally running at
270 km/h. The ride took no more than 2 minutes but I enjoyed every second of
it, so much so that I decided to go in it for a second time.
This is when a group of 6-7 of us who barely spoke in school, went together
in the ride for the second time and the rest was history, as we hanged-out
together during the whole remaining trip.
Back to the Ferrari world, well it’s a proud feeling to say that our crazy
group was the only group to cover the most rides :D
This included the world’s fastest roller coaster (twice)- The Prestigious
Formula Rossa; one of the highest roller coaster- Flying Aces; A roller
coaster which was barely 10 seconds, but the whole city was visible through
it, - The Turbo Track as well as 4-5 more extremely fun rides. Yes, it was
only our crazy group who were able to do so many rides. Though, this made us
late for lunch, had to stuff on some burgers, fries and soda within 15
minutes to make sure we weren’t late.
We then left Ferrari world with probably the craziest memories from the
We then went to the Grand Mosque. The interiors of which were extremely
colourful and splendid while the view was amazing.
Then we rushed to the Burj Khalifa, the queue even though was more than an
hour long, the end was worth every moment of it. The view from 500m above
the ground…nothing more than insanely marvellous.
We came back to the hotel, had dinner and, the crazy group, stayed up till
3:00 GST probably before sleeping for less than an hour, because the third
day, we were going to the beach early in the morning.
With about 2 hours of sleep, we started off day three with an amazing time
spent in the beach. Though, many couldn’t make it to the beach as they
overslept, but ‘snoozers are losers’ they say :)
After a good breakfast, we went for some shopping in the huge Dubai mall and
then stopped for some refreshing lunch.
After lunch we proceeded to what happens to be also one of the best memories
in the trip, the desert safari.
A topsy-turvy ride on the huge sand dunes, followed by some buggy rides over
them (we were allowed to ride it by ourselves :D) had to be one of the best
experiences of the trip. This was all finally washed up with some barbeque
dinner and a whole lot of water and soda with some good dance as
entertainment. Again… we stayed up most of the night, just talking and
It was the final day before setting off to Bengaluru, we first went to swim
in the roof-top-pool, which gave a fresh start to the day.
Followed by some great breakfast, we went on a shopping spree, perhaps.
After lot of shopping, we went for lunch and came back to the hotel to do
the packing. The trip was slowly coming to an end:’
We checked out of the hotel and went for high-tea while enjoying the cricket
match along the while.
At about 18:30 GST, we set off to the Sharjah International Airport. The way
back was somewhat sad as we were leaving but surely filled with memories.
The flight was scheduled to depart at 22:45 GST, before which our group ate
a whole lot food (especially amazing donuts) and we set off back home. The
city glowed orange and was very beautiful as seen from the airplane window
while I slept throughout the journey XD
At about 3:00 AM IST, our flight landed, after all the customs check, we
finally made it out of the airport, back to homes, full of unforgettable and
fantastic memories to cherish for long :)(:

after many decades of struggles. On this day everyone around the world
celebrated with great pride and joy and we the students of KENSRI School
also wanted to celebrate this great occasion by hosting a small yet sweet
This assembly began with a patriotic flag hoisting by our chief guests Capt.
Subramaniam Ramkumar and Mrs. Manjula Ramkumar and followed by our National
Anthem. We were joined by the students of Class 6 through 12 and a lot of
participants. There were two beautiful dances by the class of 6th and 8th
standard and melodious music. We were enlightened by a mime performed by the
drama students. There were many number of well-spoken speeches in different
regional languages that left us shocked and the show was beautifully hosted.
We were also awed by the speech of our school president Aryan Kumar but even
more inspired by the speech given by our Chief guest. His speech really
motivated the crowd and made us feel proud of our country.
We came on to the end of this program by cutting a cake and even distributed
to the teachers and students. Overall the show was a grand success and we
could leave the complex with a lot of memories.

Congratulations!! Jane Jones
Jane Jones has been a student of Kensri for
the past 14 years and we are proud to inform you that on June 2022, she
published her book “Drops of Morning Dew: Reflecting hope anew”. The
book written by Jane Jones is a collection of poems, written over a span of
three years. The poems are inspired by various people, occasion, and nature
and seeks to find the light in every situation – the rainbow in every storm.
She has pinned her thoughts through several poems which relate to all and
has used the poetic form of writing to write on various subjects and
occasions but always focusing on the goodness, greatness, and faithfulness
of God. Her journey down this road all started when she was asked to pen her
first poetry assignment by her English teacher, from that day onwards the
sky was the limit. Her emphasis has been more on relationships like a
teacher who imbibes value and knowledge from day one, next she speaks about
the mother whose selfless service, love, care, and sacrifice are
demonstrated felicitously. These are the 2 important pillars in our lives
and her emphasis on how to find a friend who is loyal, honest and
understanding is truly commendable.
Apart from this, she is an academic achiever
from a young age and is also an international rank holder in maths, science,
social, English, and cyber-Olympiads. Apart from academics, she is also a
virtuoso pianist and violinist and is a maestro in painting and drawing.
