Science at KENSRI: Nurturing Curiosity, Discovery & Innovation

At KENSRI, Science education is not just about learning facts — it’s about exploring the world, questioning assumptions, and solving real-world problems. From understanding the basics of nature to mastering complex scientific principles, we encourage every student to think like a scientist.

Our approach blends hands-on learning, real-world application, and interdisciplinary exploration, helping students become critical thinkers and innovators who are prepared for a changing world.

DEPARTMENT OF SCIENCE

GOAL: To maintain good health and wellness.

Biology is the scientific study of life and living organisms. It explores the structure, function and growth.

In Kensri School and College, Biology and Sports go hand in hand.

Biology is all about Life processes and Life systems.

We aim at inculcating wellness through sports and exercise along with teaching the functioning of the different biological systems.

GOAL: To reduce carbon footprint on Mother Earth and to live as one family

Nature is all that is seen around us with the plants, animals and the panchmahabhoothas which are the components of the Living and the Non Living world. We , at Kensri School and College, believe in living as per the ancient philosophy ,Vaudheiva kutumbakam where all are equal and are considered as one entity.

GOAL: To understand that all matter is transformed into other forms through various reactions.

Chemistry is all about matter, materials and reactions. We, at Kensri School and College have understood this well where we have learnt the chemistry of food in  cereals, millets and grains and transformed them into various forms of food through Kinesthetics from our Pre Nursery going up to the higher classes through Sanathan Gyan activities.

GOAL: To understand the efficiency of gadgets.

Physics is defined at the study of matter, energy, and the interaction between them.

Work, Force, Pressure; Motion and Transportation; Energy are the three blocks of Physics at Kensri School and College where these principles of physics are taught with Kinesthetics, display posters and various application sheets in a child friendly manner. Learning becomes very interesting by these innovative methods.
